Suprise, suprise!!!
Good news for ZX fans!!!
The release of MegaMan ZX Advent (the second game in the ZX series) is now going somewhat public. The Japanise release is some time in July, and the US release is supposed to be in October. It does not include Vent and Aile, but two new characters in their place named Gray (male) and Ashe (female). Also there are new biometals and a Model A as your base biometal (i bet you can guess what that means) which allows you to transform into the bosses you defeat and unlock new routes and whatnot. Also, my personal favorite villans in the ZX series return (Promothus and Pandora) and seem to have larger rolls in this game. You also seem to be armed even as a human as well. (good thing in my opinion.) ;D

To me this is the most interesting thing about ZX Advent: As reported before, Legions is a union government that controls everything in the world. At the top of this group stands beings who are called the three wise men. Master Thomas, the red haired one, is the serious and strict leader. Master Albert, the blue haired one, specializes in handling technology. Master Mikhail, the elderly looking one, is in charge of managing information of things like history and geography. The three make requests to the Hunter Guild for collecting Live Metals, and offer extraordinary rewards for their retrieval. The reason they wish to obtain Live Metals, however, is yet unknown. Legions does sound very interesting.....is there more info about it? I don't really like the designs for the new main characters. They're too generic in my opinion, and too many stories start off with 'something' being stolen. Oddly, I associated Ashe (is that the name of the male hero?) with Solidus.....must be cause of the two tentacles.

Ashe is the girl, Cere. The one with the thing on his back is Grey.
Although, your observation is something that I would of never figured out myself...

Correction: MMZXA does include Vent and Aile, but not as playable characters. When playing Grey's storyline, you'll encounter Aile as Model ZX after defeating four Pseudoroids, and in Ashe's game you'll meet Vent at the same point. Meet and FIGHT, I should say. Yes, you finally get to battle Model ZX and thrash it to pieces! (Actually not all that hard on Normal Mode, unlike what I had expected...) I beat the game on Beginner and Normal in 2 days, Beginner file 100%. The game is much easier than ZX was. And I'm disappointed that there was nothing between Vent and Ashe... They would have been perfect for each other! All that friendly banter all the time... ;D

What's wrong with Albert naming it after himself? Personally, I thought it was ingenious they managed to trick me the whole time. From how I see it, Model A is probably modeled after Axl (though not necessarily the real him), but I don't think the main villain being egotistical about it warrants your condemning the entire game. In fact, ZXA completely surpassed my expectations, and I absolutely hated the name of the game, the characters, and the background story from the start.

In the end they name it Model Albert. There is no actual spoken reference to the character Axl whatsoever. The Model slightly resembles him and that's it, no further reference. Axl fans are happy to get their cameo, and Axl haters are happy that there is no connection whatsoever, story-wise, to Axl. Everyone is happy.

ZX was based on a character that was not even supposed to exsist: Axl ( smite me for that i dare you ). and in the end they name it Albert I never said anything about smiting. In fact, I don't recall smiting anyone ever before. Like I said previously, I don't think there's anything wrong with Albert naming it after himself. SD has a great point about there being no spoken reference (I never finished playing the game so I couldn't make that claim), but I know there are a great many lookalikes in the Megaman series that have little to do with each other. To illustrate, there are people who are 'insistent' that X is an upgraded version of Rock (the original Megaman), but we don't know for sure. In fact, there exists evidence against that. Likewise, we have no definite evidence that Axl is reincarnated as Model A, but we do know that Albert is pretty egotistical caused he named it after himself. If you don't like ZX just because he's not based on a previous character then, by implication, you don't like Legends either because Trigger isn't based on X or Rock. Maybe in the future if Capcom releases another character anthology, they'll state the origins of Model A (if not made by Albert) and whether it really contains Axl or not. In the end, it was a good compromise (to me at least) that we have an Axl look-alike without naming it after him. To be honest, I didn't recognize him at first because his design reminded me more of Solidus than Axl really. To sum it up, you'll have more fun if you look at the game more objectively. ZX has a lot of good points with or without Axl.

calm down Cere zxa dosnt have a megaman legdends dose and thats enough. Zxa was good in its own way without a megaman. model zx is half X and half Zero out of 15 models only 1/2 of a model is Megaman (the zero seiries is O.K because X is at least a main charater)

man zx advent sux when i was fighting albert he called model a model albert aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! for that i just wanted to smash it its axl! Err. And to think that the whole time, I've been asking you to calm down. If you step back a little, the game does have a lot of good points. You think I've been mean? Mmm, that might be the case cause I've been internet-deprived lately, but I think I've maintained a fairly stable tone the whole time. I've just been pointing out that the reasons you hate ZXA are fairly trivial. So, to clarify, I haven't been mad. Sorry if you took offense. Secondly, if you've changed your mind about ZXA (which seems likely judging from your previous post) then everything is settled. We're okay.
