In the play staion version there are some cool additions like you can listen to the music samples in the music store
also the print on signs is easier to read
lastly theres a whole new building in uptown

Yes, there are a lot of differences between MegaMan 64, and MegaMan Legends. My MAIN annoyance was the ending credits music. That BEAUTIFUL song with the character quotes was removed, and replaced with the Kattelox TV Station BGM... ugh...

it was Ive never really bothered to finish the play station version I'm on the Juno but i just didn't really care

oh... really? huh... wow i seriously didnt know that... ive been trying to listen to music in the cd store while playing mega man 64 for a while... but wait... what is the new building in uptown?

The video game development building was removed from Uptown in the 64 version. It's no big deal though, the building had no significance, you could not enter it or anything. They also changed the dialog of the unique girl who stood outside the building to avoid mention of it. I think they only removed it because it was an incomplete idea from MegaMan Legends, and it was pretty much only a distraction.

(you only see it if you decide to give the case full of cash back to the police after the car chase in downtown)

You can go inside of it, but it's otherwise pointless. It just shows that you didn't take the money for yourself, as opposed to you taking home that truckload of Zenny. Personally, I like having Stripe Burger around.
