Holy smokes! I was literally just thinking about this guy the other day! I am super bummed to hear he died (and to learn that his body was found on my birthday of all days...now that's really gonna haunt me). This year has been absolutely terrible! Despite the trouble he got into, I still respect the amazing voice work he did with Teisel Bonne. I'm sorry things didn't work out better for you Rob Smith. Rest in peace.
Also, major props to you SIMSteven for keeping this place running for all these years. That is some serious dedication. Thank you. I can't even remember the last time I was on these forums, but I never ever forgot about them. I must have been like 12 years old when I first joined! I am 30 years old now. This was the game and the message board that set me on the path I'm now currently following. It was the first place I ever participated in role playing of any kind. I was terrible back then, no doubt. My writing has improved significantly though. Nowadays, I'm working on my own original story that I hope to share with people some day. I've also started learning how to compose my very own music using my electronic keyboard. And, as of this year, I made the decision to pursue my dream in becoming an artist (I take classes at both Udemy and 2DAnimation101.com).
Sorry, I didn't mean to make this post about myself. I'm just sad to hear a cast member from our beloved Legends has passed away, and wanted to remember the good times. He definitely inspired me on some positive level. It's strange. I kinda feel like I've come full circle or something by being here again. Ultimately, I plan to combine my skills in writing, music, and artwork all together to make something awesome and inspirational that I hope other people will enjoy.
One last thing. I'd like to wish all of you a happy new year. May we all have a better 2021 than we did 2020! I'll be sure to keep an eye over here more often.

Oh, no! Hearing what happened to him is quite a shock.
I always loved his Teisel.
May he rest in peace.

Øwazero, I'm so sorry to hear that such a dark day happened on your birthday. News of this hit me hard as it was; I can't imagine having it being synonymous with my birthday being any EASIER to swallow. I'd love to read your work and hear samples of your music when you're ready to share it with us! So glad to see that this board still has some passionate members who think about it! Yeah, it's nuts how it's almost been 20 years since I/we first joined this board. Been using Covid-related lockdowns as an excuse to binge on all installments of Megaman and I realized I havn't pestered seen you guys in a while since this group virtually covered all aspects of the Megaman franchise and we were just waiting for Megaman Legends 3.... I will never understand nor forgive Capcom for cancelling MML3. Things have definitely changed for me as well. Thanks to the community who helped me enjoy worlds that existed on cartridges and CD's, I've been pursuing my goal as a Video Game Programmer. Currently have my Associates in Simulation & Game Development and have been chipping away at Computer Science. Glad to see some of you all are in relatively good body and mind. Hope it stays that way!!

Hope it stays that way!! Hey there, nice to hear you're doing well yourself (at least I hope that is still the case, since I am responding over a year later haha). So, I succeeded in my goal of becoming an artist. Granted, that is an ongoing and never ending journey. I've been practicing how to draw anatomy almost every single day of the 2022 year, but to be honest, I'm still pretty newbish at it lol. However, after everything I managed to accomplish between late 2020 to the end of 2021 I was amazed by my results (sorry to say I don't have any of this posted on social media at this time). I feel like 2023 is going to be a bigger year for me. I'm gradually learning about 3D art design as well through some Udemy courses as I want to be able to create original assets and design video games myself one day! I've also been learning and practicing Japanese daily this past year, which I plan to continue. The way I see it, more of us are gonna have to start learning these complicated skills so that we can build cool new stuff that invokes some of the magic that inspired us when we were younger. I didn't like Capcom's decision to cancel Legends 3 but I've come to accept it and decided that one day I'll just make MY OWN Megaman Legends-like story & characters at some point. I feel like I've already got a very good idea in mind for such a thing but I'm leaving that a secret for now, heh heh heh... Happy new year to anyone that reads this. And remember, no matter how difficult or overwhelming a goal you're looking to achieve might be, if you strive to accomplish just 1% progress every single day, you will get closer towards achieving that goal than you can imagine! After all, 1% progress is better than 0%! I know this from experience because I've been following that strategy for the past 2 years and it really does work for just about anything. If you work on it every day, even just a little bit, even if it's only for a few minutes a day, it will eventually become a habit and you will have an easier time. Just make sure you keep that habit alive! It's like watering a plant in a way, except in this case, the "plant" represents your goals and dreams!

Hey there, Øwazero! Welcome back!
Thank you very much for posting here. I'm very glad to hear you're doing well. Congratulations for becoming an artist! I think that's very cool. I'm very glad to hear you view this as a never-ending journey. That sounds like a very fun adventure. I think it's very good you practice drawing everyday. I'm sure you're much better at it than you think you are. I'm very glad to hear you have progressed so much and that you can really see results. I'm very excited for you that you're really looking forward to 2023 and you have such a positive attitude about it. I think it's very good that you're studying and that you one day want to make a video game! I think it's amazing you are studying Japanese! That is very cool! I think you're right that it would be very nice to create things like what inspired us when we were younger. It seems we all have been very inspired by the Mega Man Legends series. I think it would be very cool to see you create a video game that would be strongly influenced by the Mega Man Legends series. I see you want to keep your ideas a secret. If you ever have anything you'd like to share with us that would be awesome. Thank you very much for your kind, New Year wish. Happy New Year, Øwazero. I'm very glad to hear it seems that you've had a fantastic, productive year so far. Thank you very much for your positive, inspirational words! I have learned from your post and I will do better! I hope you have a wonderful day and I also hope you have an amazing weekend. Take care.
I have always loved all of the voice acting in the Mega Man Legends series very much. I hope everyone that reads this post has an excellent day. Take care, everyone.
