What's worse than the silence is when you grasp for words, and realize there's nothing to say.
Anyway, hey Sim.

Wow. Hey, Exo. Great to see you again. I think the last time we talked was like in 2010.

Oh my god. Posts!
I still check in from time to time, even though I'm not much of a regular. Howdy Exo, Cere.

Heh.
I'm sure you've guessed but I hang out at the MML3 Dev Room these days. Mostly it's because of how SuperDanny has gone AWOL and this place has basically been dated to the extreme. I mean, even the flash banner at the top of the page is the same as it was before cancellation. That means it's over a year old. And we've been admin-less the whole time.

Well yeah. How've you been Cere? Can't really complain. But life is stressful when you've just graduated from school. Hey Mikey. Good to see that I'm not the only one. Outdated as it may be, I'm quite attached to this place. Once in awhile, it's nice to do something you used to do all the time, and even if you haven't touched it in a long time, it's as familiar as it ever was. Hey Sim. I'll probably see you there sometime.

I suppose if anyone has a Dev Room account, post your username so I know who you are over there.

Kobun's stirring. He's PMed me twice (the first having been a reply to a PM that I sent nearly two years ago,) but hell, the guy is STIRRING. With any luck, he'll post his greetings publicly heresoon and maybe give us something to talk about as a group. Now somebody revive SuperDanny. *whistle*

Sooooooooo hey.... This is so random how I ended up here right now but I was bored at work and decided to install a PlayStation emulator. Figured why not take a stroll down memory lane and play the Legend series. I just finished MML1 and HOLY CRAP how satisfying that was. Somehow I remembered my password to this message board. Voila! I'm here. My last post was in 2010, I originally joined in 2004, and man... Crazy how time flies. Is anyone else still active?

My last post was 2011?I'm pretty confident that no one here is active anymore. I check in once or twice a year when something reminds me of MLU and it does seem like SIM still logs in daily, or at least every day I happen to check. He doesn't seem to respond to the rare post such as yours though, so I don't know if he actually looks to see if anything's changed. Or maybe he just doesn't care, though why check in at all if that's the case? SIM is still a mysterious man it seems. It strikes me as kind of pathetic that I still have enough investment to think about an old message board every so often, but I really did enjoy this place as a kid. It's bittersweet to see it as a total hollowed out empty shell of a place, but it always gives me a bit of comfort to know it's still up. Posting late on a summer night like this makes me particularly nostalgic. (Though I might not have considered 11:23 to be late back then...) Anywho, just in case this is the last post I ever make here, thanks to everyone who made this place fun back then. And it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to just set an apology right here for all the times I was a shrieking and/or egomaniacal crazy person. And for all the times I apologized and went right back to it again anyway. Looking back on my "recent" post history has me realizing how often I was pulling that crap right up until the end, and I did cringe appropriately. Maybe MML3 will be made after all and we can all come back again someday, a little older and less like Tron Bonne-y.

I rarely respond because it's just ingrained in my daily routine to check all my message boards before I go to bed at the end of the night. Most of the time I don't even see the point in responding either because I'm too tired or someone is asking for something that I can't provide. There's also the fact that not even SuperDanny even comes here any more, let alone Dia or most other active members. Not even spammers seem to bother any more lately even though some did come around occasionally.
So usually I just click on the link on my toolbar, check the bottom of the homepage for the most recent post, and 5 second later, click the next link on my toolbar and move on to another forum. It's not much time out of my day to do this but I have read every new post when one eventually happens.

*waves* Hey everybody. I check around every one or two years for much the same reason as 42. I think Sim might've seen my name pop up once or twice. Yeah, lots of cringey but happy memories to look back on. Just talking about games and obsessing over rping were so much fun back then. I've stopped feeling sad about the state of the place, but I certainly wouldn't want it to disappear. It still is an important record to an important part of childhood. Things change slowly but surely. MML3 may not have come true, not even that promising looking fan one, but one dream did at least. In the off chance anyone hasn't seen it yet. www.lunartoystore.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/800x800/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/4/i/4inch-nel_mega_man_legends_mega_man_volnutt_15_.jpg And like with Volnutt here, I find that in recent years I've slowly checked off one by one a lot of those wishes that couldn't be fulfilled when we were kids. Edit: Oh yeah, anyone know whatever happened to UGR?

Hey guys, hope you're all doing well. I check back into this place about twice a year, but I must say it is really heartwarming to see all of these posts from familiar names again. MLU was the first online community that I joined as a kid, and it'll always hold a special place in my heart. It sort of exists as a time capsule that I can look back on all of the thoughts that I expressed in my own (immature) words. Anyways, I really do wish the best for you all.
