Well it won't be any worse than what they've just done.

Eh, acting like a douchebag only to end up letting someone else succeed and get all the credit seems pretty bad, for them anyway. The other company would be the hero that saved Legends while Capcom would just be left looking like a twat.
Then again, they seem to care more about money than their public relations, so I guess this could happen.

One thing I've found interesting is that the number of Servbots has pretty much doubled in the past week and last night, the petition thread grew by about 1800 posts over 24 hours.
So it's definitely something worth noting.
However, I still do not support Capcom's business tactics.

Well I do not think its over. It is a setback yes, but I will still continue to try to help get this game out one way or another, just like I started to nearly 6 years ago when I beat MML2. 6 years compared to 2 weeks of trying is nothing.

According to that article, the implication of their statement is that no fan movement will change their minds. Period. Maybe some internal decision will eventually revive the game, right after the first flying pig sightings, but nothing we little people do would ever change their minds.

Yep, and I cannot count how many times it looked just as hopeless as this.
Everyone here can all quit if they want, but I will keep going.

To me that doesn't matter.
We've come too far to quit now so either Capcom either needs to stop making bad decisions or they'll pay for them. And pay dearly they will, as many people are threatening to boycott Capcom over ALL the crap they've been pulling lately.
I'm not quitting and articles like this don't deter me. As far as I'm concerned, it's yet another lie on their part.

Okay so let me get this straight.
Capcom is willing to greenlight DmC and Resident Evil 6eneric Shitty Shooter; but they cancel MML3.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, CAPCOM.
Are they TRYING to alienate every single one of their fans!? Are they TRYING to destroy themselves!? How utterly incompetent can the execs possibly be?
Hell with it, I'm out. Capcom's gone to hell in a handbasket and they have absolutely nothing worth me spending my money on anymore. I sincerely hope someone finds whoever cancelled MML3 and shoves Data's cactus up their ass.

I'm still gonna try to help out, even though it seems damn near impossible to sway Capcom to finish Legends 3. Also, I'm boycotting Capcom by not buying their games and buying the games I do want from them used. I'll be honest, I am a little excited to see a new Darkstalkers game, but I am not purchasing it at full price. That way, I'll get the game I want without paying Capcom a cent. If others do the same, I hope that Capcom might change it's mind... I can only hope now.
