Who here believes Zero, as a series, are the best offerings in the 2-D megaman games? Now, speaking as someone who adores mm 1-8, mmx 1-5, and both ZX titles, I believe that Zero 1-4 are the most fun, well written and pulse pounding games the series has yet offered. I am simply stating this, as I have mulled it around in my mind often, that I cant stop playing them. The only megaman series im more enthralled by is legends, honestly. Rock on. (pun more than intended...it was divined. lol)

Yikes, I've been away for a while. This thread looked a bit lonely with only one post so I'll write something before my net book's batteries run out (I decided to save the money and not get internet this term at school, but that's just an excuse for not coming more often, gah).
Ahem, I agree completely that Zero trumps the other games, in story depth at least. I still remember fondly being invited by Ciel to the dilapidated bunker they call home, thinking that your old pal is committing reploid genocide out of paranoia, and finally sacrificing yourself to put an end to a diabolical cyborg. For me, the story wanted to say that it was time for the creations of a past era (including yourself) to exit the stage so that their evils do not hamper a brighter future.
So yes, I consider Zero to be the best of the 2D series.
