I plunged the drill Purifier crafted into the eye of yet another green Zakobon. I had no time to admire this new addition to the ever-growing pile of Reaverbots as I threw myself to the ground to avoid a deadly blast of fire from one of the red ones. By the time I got back on my feet, Snake had already decapitated it with his energy sword.
"Thanks!" I said.
"No Problem!" He shot back, charging into a new cluster of the diminutive Reaverbots that Exo was already fighting off. They seemed to be endless, but I was becoming hopeful that we could hold them for a long time. That is, assuming we would only be fighting Zakobons and Sharukurusus. If any of the larger Reaverbots, which I knew for a fact were present in the city, made a concentrated effort to overrun our position, we would be done for.
As long as we could hold the choke point at the main entrance, the outlook remained hopeful.
"They're underground!"
Damn.
I turned to see a slightly bloodied Purifier slam the door that led to the basement of the General Building. He used the weight of his body to hold the door as Reaverbots attempted to break through.
"You've got to be kidding me!" I shouted, "How in the hell did they get down there!?"
"I'm not sure!" he shouted back, "Maybe they burrowed!"
I didn't appreciate that suggestion. We really were doomed if they could just rise up from beneath our feet!
"I've had enough of this!" I growled, "Here!" His back against the door, he held out his hands so I could give him the drill. "Let them break through the door and use it to destroy them before they can enter the lobby. Create another choke point."
"Alright, but what are you going to do?" Purifier asked.
"It's time to introduce these Reaverbots to the power of Pooding." With that I rushed to the elevator, hoping the materials I needed could still be found in the General Building.
(OOC: For those of you who aren't aware, Pooding is a legendary substance that consists of:
1% Pudding 10% Infernal Hot sauce 19% Expired Jam 20% Mayonnaise 50% Insanity
It is the ultimate element and can manifest itself in any state of matter. In the past, I believe it's powered anything from laser weapons to nuclear bombs.
Pooding is basically an old in-joke here that spiraled beautifully out of control when Servbot4677 made a typo while typing the word pudding. So if you were wondering what that meant in my custom title and sig, there you go.)

OOC ~Woot, I seem to have created a spark that everybody's enjoying.~ ___________________
Slightly dazed by the sudden developments, I see 42 rush by towards the elevators. I grabbed a couple cannon kits and hurried after him, reaching the inside of the Elevator just as it closed.
Judging by the sound outside, the shield is getting ever weaker, and now Sharukurusu's are assisting the Mammu's in taking repeated hits at the shield. "Shield power for the General Building is now at 50%." said a calm, soothing female robotic voice.
It didn't seem to be THAT long... If the shield is losing power that quickly due to the hits, we'll have to find the power source to charge it. I quickly began fiddling with the cannon kits, and 42 laughed a bit then knelt down.
"This part goes here like this, the barrel goes here, and..." I watched in awe as he quickly crafted a Powered Buster.
"Oh okay I think I got it," I responded. In a few motions, I crafted another buster out of the second kit in twice the time, but I knew I would eventually get better.
"Hey, you're not half bad at weapon development. You should use your head as well, to help come up with new ideas around here. We're stripped short of weapons at such an unexpected time." stated 42.
"Oh, I mess around with hardware from time to time...." I started, as the elevator door opened on the top floor, and we were greeted by a few Zakobuns on the roof.
"What the hell? They must be parachuting down from above! The shield's not protecting the roof anymore!" I gathered and dodged the Zaks into a group, and 42 and me blew them off the roof from both sides.
"The firepower of these things isn't bad... But they could be so much better! I'm going to my room for a second!" shouted 42, as he ran back into the elevator.
"Okay! I'll see what I can do from up here!" I replied. Just as the elevator door closed, I saw it. A beautiful scope was hanging on a display rack near the door. I ran over to it, broke the glass with the butt of the buster, and examined the scope. It was a bright blue color, zoom lens, perfect for picking off any target. I attached it and toke a look.
"Oh god... the ricochet is gonna bruise my eye, but this is going to be AWESOME!" I said to myself.
I ran to the edge of the building and toke a look down. 5 floors down, I could see the Sharukurusu/Mammu assault. I quickly modified the cannon to have the shots fire from the barrel reach their target much faster, sacrificing ammo available in the gun at one time in the process. I placed each of the spare ammo shots I extracted from the buster next to me on the wall, then I toke one look down, and saw a lone Sharu, getting ready for a charge.
Quick as I could muster, I aimed, and shot. the long, thin shot found its target, and the Sharukurusu blew up from the small blast radius- nothing remaining but a few zenny, and I smiled as I toke aim again.

I was tediously cutting up zakobon while making my way over to Snake when I heard a sharukusu lunge for me I whirled around to block only to see it get shot down to the ground. I proceeded to curiously scan the general building until I saw Mikey sniping from the roof top. I smiled and continued to slash my way over to Snake.
Once I finnaly got over to him I asked him the obvious question: "where did 42 go?"
"He went to get that."
"you mean...-"
"yes"
A moment later I heard the computer calmly announce: "USER SERVBOT#42 HAS DEACTIVATED ALL ENERGY SHIELDS"
"Already?!" I said
"Yeah, we need to hurry up behind the elevator shaft" replied Snake
As snake and I retreated from the advancing reaverbots I saw purifier climbing up from the stair by the side of the building
I shouted to him "Get behind the elevator, 42 is bringing out the pooding!"
He looked shocked for a moment before nodding and leaping to the back wall.
We heard the omnious ding of the elevator shaft and then heard the door opened slowly. Once it was completely open I saw the yellow death pour out into the lobby. The pooding wiped out all the reaverbots in sight and quickly poured into the tunnels the fiends were appearing from. I frowned slightly when I saw all the zenny ate up by the pooding.
We sighed a sigh of relief... however it wasn't over yet

From a security monitor I watched the liquid Pooding engulf the Reaverbot hordes in the lobby and the surrounding block outside. This was acceptable, but I was disappointed by the lack of high-quality scrap available in the General Building. With the right parts I could have fabricated a laser or something that could have been used to unleash devastation on a much greater scale. We should really start throwing away nice things for this sort of occasion.
I activated the communication system for the lobby and the roof. "I probably should have warned you guys about that, but I was confident that you would all flee at the thought of me armed with any sort of Pooding weapon." From the looks on some of their faces, I could tell they didn't appreciate my making light of their near-death experience.
"Er, anyway," I continued, "Now that General Building is secure and the tunnels those things were pouring out of are now sealed in this area, you should all move on to continue the fight elsewhere. The core that powered this building's shield is the container I used to hold the Pooding in the elevator, so I should probably work on replacing it. When that's done, I'll join you. If I were you, I would go make sure MML3 Tower is still standing."
I watched as they made various gestures of consent, looking slightly exasperated at the thought of getting back into the battle so quickly. They waited for Mikey to descend to the lobby and then sat off for MML3 Tower.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Since SIM and Danny are unlikely to take part in this, and since they would be the two most important people in this city, I think I think we should start using their characters for the sake of the plot.

OOC <.< Since I'm a deadbeat and know very little about their personalities, I'll let all of the "first class purifiers" deal with that. Lol ___________________
Without a moment's rest, plunging from one battle straight to the other, the small group of three made their way outside, as I hastily gathered a few more cannon shots before heading out the door, sloshing across Pooding as I went. I was rather uneasy, being one to travel with the pack. I was so used to being in the shadows, away from danger, but still executing my targets with ease. This wasn't so bad, but all of the reaverbots up ahead made one thing clear to me, I would have to find a motorized weapon soon, for I could only carry so many shots.
Upon approaching the building, The usual Mammu/Sharukarusu assault was pounding the shields of the MML3 building. The building was still rather new, and the shields were much more flexible than any of us thought, but I knew that something tragic could happen at any second. I toke careful aim at a Sharukarusu, as far away from the building as we were, and I heard the sound of "CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK" and was too slow to react as a damn Kuruguru (crab reaver) smashed right into me. Purifier and Snake cut it into pieces with a few quick motions with the Drill and Energy Sword. Zenny for everybody!
"That wasn't pleasant..." I mumbled, as I stumbled to my feet with the help of Exo.
"Can't have you becoming too careless now," stated Exo, "you're the only gun we have right now."
I stared in disbelief, but it was true. I had a Scoped Powered Buster (SPB), Exo had his blade arm, Purifier had the drill, and Snake had the Energy Sword. Perhaps I hadn't thought it over. I didn't need a motorized weapon, I just needed them to protect me should the fight ever turn into close combat.
"Don't forget, being a sniper is all about location. and nothing else." inquired Purifier. It seems that there was quite a bit that I forgot.
"Right... Lets get to the MML3 building. It's just 2 blocks down!" I exlaimed.
The group went from a brisk walk to a small run. I glanced into the corner of my eye and saw a great big Karubun, apparently disabled. I ran up to it and tore off a piece of its shell with difficulty, and its strange mystical eye then popped out. I quickly scooped it up and put both into my unseen "inventory", and proceeded to catch up with the rest of the group before they noticed me doing so.

OOC: Wasn't 42 the one with the drill? Purifier is still unarmed. EDIT: Thanks 42! _________________________________________________ We managed to get over to the MML3 tower rather quickly since the pooding wiped out most of the reaverbots on the surface. Snake saw a familiar face at the other entrance to the tower.
He said "It looks like SIM is fighting over there" I squinted and then nodded yes. We ran over there while trying not to disturb the scattered reaverbots on the streets.
We were making our way over to SIM when an invisible sharukurusu started to run for us. Purifier whirled around and then started listening.
He heard it's loud foot steps and then... quick and strong struck an unseen metal with his drill.
Sparks flew every which way while he drilled into it. He pressed harder and harder into the sharukurusu and then, the drill broke.
Purifier grunted in annoyance and then jumped up and smashed it with the now dull drill. The hit was just enough to finish off the reaverbot.
Purifier groaned and said "ughh, now how am I going to fight?!"
Snake replied "we should head over to SIM and see if he has a spare weapon for you"
Purifier nodded in agreement
We sprinted over to SIM while thankfully avoiding other reaverbots.
Purifier spoke first "Hey SIM can you tell me where to find a new weapon? A Sharukurusu broke my drill"
"Right, you could use Dia's old grenade arm, it's in her room upstairs"
"Thanks a ton SIM" Purifier leaped up the stair while saying "I'll be right back!!"
SIM turned to face us "listen, the mayor went into the caverns to try and eliminate the reaverbots from the source, He told me to send a few of you guys down once you got over here"
"I think you two you should go into the caverns" SIM pointed at Mikey and Snake
He reached down a picked up a sheet of metal and said "Mikey, use this" "It's a shield I made when the reaverbots started appearing, Unfortunately I couldn't use it with the weapon I made"
He was right, it took both his hands just to support the impressive hyper-shell arm he made.
Mikey smiled "thanks!"
Snake said gruffly "Well cya later SIM" with that Snake and Mikey set off.
I was about to follow when SIM stopped me and said "Not so fast Exo, I want you and purifier to go back and get 42 over here safely"
I looked back at the road there were already far more reaverbots on it than when we came over here. I sighed and said "all right we'll get him back over here safely"

Up the stairs I went to retrieve the grenade arm from Dia's room. It was on the fourth floor as I remember. I would have loved to have ridden the elevator, but it was one of the parts of the building we hadn't fully installed yet.
I successfully climbed the stairs to the fourth floor after about three minutes. I began reading the name tags on the doors. "Lets see..." I mumbled.... "Red, Red, 42... Sureiya... Snake... Me... Exo.... Mikey..." I then proceeded to slap myself in the face after I remembered that the Admin Rooms were at the end of the hall... All that reading for nothing.
I walked up to the three admin rooms. Sim's and Danny's were closed and locked, but Dia's door was wide open. The key was hanging out of the lock. Someone was already in there, and could very well still be in there... Cautiously, I peered into the room.
It looked to be clear... I entered the room, and saw the grenade arm lying on Dia's end table next to her bed. I grabbed it and put it over my hand. Fit like a glove... because it was, technically...
As I was trying it on, the door closed behind me. A Warut, in it's undisturbed state, stood in front of the now closed door. It's head extended out of it's body to reveal a skinny neck. It's facial features became more horrifyingly defined. It's arms extended before it. And then, it began shuffling towards me.
In a hurry, I lobbed a grenade at it's head, blowing it's head clear off. The once tall, blue reaver crumbled to the floor. I headed out, making sure to drag the reaver parts out and to lock the door behind me. I probably owe Dia some zenny when she gets back... I partially wrecked her room with that grenade...
Shuffling back down the stairs to meet up with Sim and exo, I then wondered how the reaver had even gotten into the building... no signs of digging, the shields were still high in energy... unless someone accidentally let it through the shield somehow...
I met up with Exo downstairs, and he told me "We have to go back and get 42 back to Sim safely."
I stared aghast at the number of reavers over at the General Building. I hoped 42 was doing alright... Those things were crawling in by the thousands...
I readied my grenade arm, and Exo and I advanced.

(OCC- How bout everybody having a standard energy shield like Megaman's in MML? reduced damage unless it's broken and stuff?) ~Meanwhile~ Me and snake were heading into the caverns. An unfamiliar territory to me, trying to hold the shield and SPB in an awkward manner. It wasn't working very well, as the SPB was always meant to be a 2-handed weapon. Then I remembered the spare parts I had gotten off of the disabled Karubun, I "TOOK" them out and quickly examined them, then had a spark of inspiration, courtesy of 42. I began fiddling with it. "When did you get those parts?" asked Snake. "Oh, I happened to see a disabled reaverbot, who graciously donated its eye and a piece of its shell to me..." I replied, still concentrating. "Make haste. We shouldn't split up, since it's gotten so dangerous down here." Snake raised his sword, suddenly alert something was nearby. A hefty amount of Zakobun had appeared from the ceiling. I began working faster, but trying hard not to break the parts I had managed to extract. "Not that killing these Zakobuns isn't fun, but would you please hurry? No pressure though. " added Snake. Instead of aiming for a shield arm, I was trying to modify the two parts to go even further, perhaps as a secondary energy shield, so I could do away with the big metal shield. The reaverbots' technology was quite amazing, and I had actually managed to craft a reusable shield orb, which I immediately used, and it spun faster and faster until it seemed to look like a stationary yellow light surrounding me, then it dissapeared. Just as I finished, Sword had finished up with the Zakobuns. "What 'TOOK' you so long?" Asked Snake, as he walked over to me. "I crafted the best invention as of yet, a secondary energy shield," I explained, "whenever I get under attack, based on the damage taken, my heart rate, and my own 'inner' link to the shield, I can generate a 3 second shield to absorb all damage taken. The shield will last for 5 seconds if I happen to be knocked down like with the Kuruguru incident earlier. (it also requires a 10 second cooldown once invincibility is over) If my "standard" energy shield is shattered, I lose control of the invention and it goes to high alert, protecting me as it sees fit; and it's un-removeable at that time . Like most things, it's a prototype, and I need more time to fiddle with it. Q.Q" "You've certainly grown a little since that talk before the invasion." inquired Snake, with a smile. "Right... I might not have much of a voice, but I'm loaded down with hidden potential," I said, a tiny bit red in the face, "here, you should take this metal shield that Sim gave me, I just had to craft the energy shield because I can't shoot with a scope and weild a shield at the same time. With so few shots, I'll need the scope; a shot missed is a shot wasted." "It's not too heavy, it's perfect in conjunction with the Sword. Nice touch Sim." said Snake. "It wasn't easy making it lightweight and effective at the same time. Be careful you two, those ruins span several floors, and I'm not going to be your spotter forever." alerted Sim through the radio. I had jumped a little in that time; he must've invented a portable radar prior to the invasion, but I couldn't help but think that he'd be rather distracted up top. "Right, let's get started." said Snake, as he ran through the first double door, with me trailing behind him.

Not long after we passed through the doors the paths diverged. One path led to the right, the other to the left.
"Let's split up. We'll be more likely to find Danny that way." Mikey suggested as he stood behind me.
"I don't think so. Keep in mind that I can't cut everything and you don't have enough ammo to shoot anything that comes your way." I replied, turning around to face him.
"...Then how will we decide which way to go?"
"Hahaha, it's simple. I'll throw my sword straight into the air. If the sword sticks into the ceiling, we go left, and if the butt of the sword bounces off the ceiling , we go right!" I said, laughing heartily.
"...Isn't that a little dangerous?!" Mikey exclaimed, quite alarmed by my reasoning.
"Nonsense! He we go! Hup!" I grunted as I threw the sword towards the ceiling. It stuck, and I then realized how high the ceiling was.
"...Left it is, then." I said shortly afterwords.
"How are you gonna get that back?"
"Oh shi- Uh... it's fine, I'll find a new weapon later. I hated close quarters weapons anyways..."
We walked off to the left, with my shield at the ready to bash a Reaverbot's head in and Mikey covering me at the rear.

Exo and I rushed to the General Building, cutting down and blowing up any reaverbots in our way. They were all Zakoban or Sharukurusu or any other standard reaverbot.
"We're almost there!"- Exo shouted over the clanking of reaverbot footsteps and the explosion of the grenades. "Just a few more Reaverbots, and the path to 42 will be clear!"
"Thank God!" I wheezed. "All of this battling is wearing me out..."
Exo cut down the last Zakoban in our way with his oscillating blade, and kicked it's lifeless shell aside. The door was right in front of us. All we needed to do is get 42 out of the control room upstairs.
Suddenly, an earthquake shook the ground, and Exo and I fell flat on our asses. The ground split wide open in front of us, and 3 quadrupedal shadows stood before us.
Karumuna Bash. Just what we needed. The three dog-like reavers scanned the area and quickly identified us both. We didn't have any choice but to defend ourselves. One of them quickly ran over to the general building's entrance and blocked us from entering.
"We can't escape!" Exo exclaimed "Judging by how fast that one ran over to that door, we won't be able to outrun them either, so let's fight!"
"Wait Exo!" I screamed. "Your weapon will be no use against these things! Close range with them is suicide!"
"How so?!" Exo said, a look of disbelief on his face.
"I've fought these things before. Back when we were mining resources to keep our city alive, we stumbled into some Ruins, and these things were the guardians." I growled, " We barely made it out alive that day. If it wasn't for Danny's Shining Laser, none of us would be alive today. They breathe fire and tackle hard." "Damn..." Exo grumbled under his breath.
Both of us stood battle-ready. Those dogs didn't move an inch. They were probably waiting for us to make our move first...
"Exo! I'll distract them with grenades! That'll leave you with some room to craft something for an alternative weapon for now" I ran forward like the fool I am, and two of the the Karumuna Bash charged at me. I grabbed the empty shell of a Zakoban's head for a shield and began the assault...

Sweating heavily... Heart pounding... breathing quickly...
I have to live... I have to live... I have to live...
I scanned the ground around me, I needed a weapon. There was nothing but half destroyed reaverbots littering the road. I turned back to my adversary. Ready to fight to the end. As the demon wolf was about to descend upon me I instinctively wrenched out one of the blades in my arm and threw it into the mouth of the artificial beast. It cried and turned back to get the blade out.
I knew I had only a moment to find a weapon... no... just a way to fight.
I looked around and saw a Hanmuru Doll missing just one leg. Looking at it I remembered an old trick Cere once showed me. He said it would change a reaverbot's guidance system to target other reaverbots instead of diggers. Unfortunately the effect would only last for a moment.
I looked at it and decided I had no other choice but to give it a shot. I dashed behind the fallen Goliath and began my work. I opened up the latch on the back of it's head and started moving around the wires... Okay, this one goes here... this one goes here... and this one goes here...
I glanced back around the doll's head and saw the beast charging at me full speed. I saw the hunger for prey in its eyes. and the flames pouring out the sides of it's mouth like saliva.
My heart skipped a beat. I reached into my backpack and pulled out a small quantum refractor and swapped it out with the burnt out one in the Hanmuru Doll.
Just as I did this I looked up and the karumuna bash flying into the air towards me.
The Hanmuru Doll sprang faithfully to life and promptly skewered the beast. I ripped out the Refractor before the doll could turn against me.
I jumped down to examine my prey... The dog was wiggling around like a fish caught on a hook. I could see the fear and confusion in it's eyes. It had been betrayed by an ally.
I smiled and soon laughed at it. "AHAHA Iv'e got you now don't I!?" "AHAHAHA!!!"
Once I got over my manical laughter I sliced it up with my remaining blade.
Unfortunately breaking my last blade in the process...
Purifier, burnt and bruised walked over to me and looked in awe at my accomplishment
"Damn Exo, you gotta show me how to do that"
I nodded and told him, "It's not quite as convenient as it looks..."
he shrugged and said "Anywho... we had better go get 42"
"...yeah"

I watched as blue light surrounded the holographic projection of the General Building.
The soothing, British tones of the computer’s voice suddenly filled the room. “Shield online.”
“Yeah, whatever that’s worth.” I muttered. I stood in the general building’s command center. The room was circular, with screens and control panels adorning the walls, only breaking three times to allow the entrance that was directly across from me and two one-person elevators that led to the armory, which was to the left of me, and the core, which was to my right. One large screen dominated the wall behind me as I stood at the large circular table that doubled as a holographic projector in the center of the room. The room was actually the command center for the entire city, but it was rumored that the administrators had a bunker somewhere with the same equipment for emergencies like the current one.
“Computer, show the interior projection of the General Building.” The hologram was immediately stripped of its outer layer to reveal the interior of every floor of the building. Red dots moved about in the first three floors. Many red dots.
“Damn it!” In the time it had taken for me to replace the core, dozens of Reaverbots had entered the building. I could only imagine how many were outside. I stood there, watching the red dots creeping up the stairwell and into the fourth floor. It occurred to me that they could continue going up, but they poured into each floor, checking for victims before ascending to the next. As I watched, I tried to think of ways to remove them and secure the building with little success. I soon accepted that it was pointless and that the General Building would have to be abandoned for the time being. As I opened my mouth to give the computer a command, I was stopped by the image of two green dots moving into the lobby. I recognized the color that signified registered citizens. In white font, two names hovered above each dot. It was Exo and Purifier!
I decided not to bother them over the intercom, as they were obviously busy. Red dots began to vanish as they made their way into the lobby.
“Computer, I’m going to the armory. When I return and exit this room, seal it with the blast doors. Do not open the doors until ordered to do so by a registered citizen.” Knowing it would comply with my order, I promptly descended to the armory. It was a short trip; the armory was directly below the command center. Despite its name, there was nothing impressive in the room I found myself in. The armory held personal weapons to fight intruders, not wage war in city streets against Reaverbot hordes, but I really had nothing else to work with. I grabbed two mega buster hand cannons from the wall, slipping one around left hand and clipping the second to my belt.
It was as awkward as it sounds.
I took the elevator back to the command center and raced to the main elevator that would take me to the lobby. The doors sealed behind me and I prayed that they would hold for awhile. The elevator in the command center was the only way to reach the core, so there was a lot riding on them.
In the elevator I placed the other mega buster on my right hand. That was pretty awkward, too.
I emerged to find Exo and Purifier slaying the last Reaverbot in the lobby.
“Nice job!” I said as I walked over to them. “What brings you back here? I said I would catch up when I was done.”
Purifier sat down on the remains of a now-unidentifiable Reaverbot, looking thoroughly exhausted. “We found Sim holding the Reaverbots at MML3 Tower. He sent Snake and Mikey into the tunnels to help Danny and he sent us to bring you back to his location.” he said.
I narrowed my eyes at him and said, “What, Sim doesn’t think I could get there myself? I mean, that’s where I was going after this anyway!”
“Yeah,” said Exo, “But could you have made it by yourself?” I saw him eyeing my mega busters, and not with an air of admiration.
“Well,” I said defensively, “I have two of them!” He just gave me a doubtful look for a few seconds before I huffed and began marching towards the door. “Let’s just go!” I shouted, taking great satisfaction at the sound of their exhausted groans.
With that, we dived into the sea of Reaverbots surrounding the General Building.

The crowd of Reaverbots outside the general building just grew larger and more diverse... Not only did we have Zakoban and Sharukurusu, but there appeared to be a small number of Gorubeshu and Karubun as well...
"Things just keep getting harder, don't they?" Exo sighed.
"Indeed they do..." I agreed.
"Would you two quit with the whining and get a move on?" 42 barked, "Whining won't kill these things any quicker..."
"Right. Let's get to it then..." I sighed. I noticed Exo was still unarmed from our Karumuna Bash incident. Being a generous person, I gave him the Grenade Arm.
"You sure about this, Purifier? This'll be like the third time you were caught in a Reaverbot attack unarmed..." Exo expressed concern in his face.
"Yeah. I've got this all figured out. I blew up a Karumuna Bash earlier, and its head stayed intact. I may be able to turn that head into a flamethrower of some sort..." I explained.
"Well you'd better find that head quick. I think they finally noticed us." 42 observed the hundreds of glowing, red eyes glaring in our direction...
I sprinted over to where I thought the head had landed. After a few seconds of fumbling around, I found it. I cracked open the shell of it's head, moving the circuits and metal inside of it around to make room for a handle. I moved the trigger mechanism to the front of the handle to create more of a gun feel to it. Carefully, I replaced the shell around my new weapon, and inserted my arm into the hole where it's "neck" used to be. Gripping the handle, I decided to see if it worked. Flames poured out of the mouth of my weapon. I had created an arm mounted flamethrower.
I looked in back of me, seeing Exo and 42 fighting a horde of Bots. Exo was chucking bombs left and right, and 42 equipped a buster to both of his arms, blasting enemies away. 42 also screamed some obscenities after a Gorubeshu got too close for comfort. Those busters weren't enough to take out its shield.
"42! Get down!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. He promptly ducked as he saw me sprinting towards him. I let out a wave of flame, melting the Reaver's shield. It stumbled backwards, getting just out of my range. 42 proceeded to finish it off with a few energy blasts.
"Nice work, Purifier!" 42 congratulated me. "Sim is a few feet ahead! Let's hustle!"
I failed to mention to 42 that I had accidentally singed some of the hair on the back of his head in trying to attack the Reaverbot...
Anywho, we met up with Sim... But I wondered what he had in store for us now...

OOC: Me and Snake now look like we're rather... "behind" with our work. lol Suddenly, an earthquake shook the ground, and Exo and I fell flat on our asses. you get an A+ for comedy. _______________________________ The cavern seemed to be any ordinary giant maze of a dungeon as me and Snake ran through, except it had more reaverbots (mainly korbesh, Mi-Tan, and Mimics being the majority) than I had ever seen. Snake and I were doing all we could just to dodge and get from one room to the next without getting killed. My shield was activating at every chance it was given I was still trying to sync my will to the activation of the shield, and I believe I was getting better. "Where the hell could Danny possibly be down here? Sim said this place spanned several stories!" I groaned, as we went down the elevator to floor 5, where there were four Kurugurus eyeballing us maliciously in a "not too narrow" hallway. "He could be as far down as Floor 10, trying to find out what's down there. He's got a Shining Laser y'know," replied Snake, "you should shoot them. They might not look it, but they're moving toward us very slowly." I shot two of them in quick succession, and both of them exploded. The third and fourth, however, then took the opportunity to charge, and 2 shots was the most I could have in the SPB at one time. I reloaded as quickly as I could (my record being 4 seconds), while Snake bashed them back with the shield. Two more shots, two more perfect kills. I quickly gathered the blue energies before bothering to reload. "We aren't going to last very long down here, this buster takes too long to reload like this." I observed, as I finished reloading it. "Couldn't you just modify it back to the way it was before? There's no real reason to snipe down here." inquired Snake. "Ahh, but what should I make the weak point? Right now, it's the ammo compartment. If it's changed to the way it was before, the shots will take too long to reach their targets..." I said, examing the buster. "Hmm, let me have a look." Snake immediately resized the compartment; it still looked smaller than it used to, but he then adjusted the barrel to be a bit shorter. "There we are. Now it holds 4 shots, but the firing rate is 1 shot per 3 seconds. The bullet speed has not been affected." smiled Snake, handing it back. "I guess that'll do down here, but you still need a weapon for yourself," I noted as I scanned the remains of the Kuruguru's, which was actually just a few legs and shells. I was thinking hard, and I picked up two of the legs and fastened them together. It seemed to look a bit like a barrel. I took a hollow outline of a shell and molded it into a compartment for the barrel. I looked at my SPB and back at my shell of a weapon, then I smiled as I carved out a place for the trigger, a comfortable grip, and I used some of the small refractors from the guru's for the energy source, and some ammo cubes. I picked up the buster, shot once, and a small missile flew out and exploded into the wall. The radius and power didn't seem to be nearly as big as the SPB's, but it was strong enough to be an "active" buster. "Hey, not bad for your first weapon from scratch Mikey," complimented Snake, as he repeatedly threw the weapon a foot into the air and caught it. "Please be careful with that one, imagine what the rest of the group will think when they see your sword stuck in the ceiling on the first floor!" I glared at him. "Haha, you're right. This buster ought to make it through the rest of the dungeon. There seem to be fewer reavers around here, so we must be getting closer to Danny." said Snake. "Don't you think that fewer reaverbots the further we go in is a suspicious sign, rather than a promising one?" I replied, beginning to get a little anxious. "Perhaps we were meant to stop here for a picnic, for you to make me a weapon, perhaps everything is premeditated. Who knows anymore, and who cares. After all of this is over, that MML3 building is going to be scarred forever. Inafune..." Snake's voice broke. "Ehh... lets worry about Danny. I'm not so willing to see myself, but we have to figure out what's on the bottom floor, and how Danny plans to deal with it." I replied, chocking 2 more shots into the now unscoped powered buster. "Right." replied Snake, as he began running. I was following, and his expression didn't seem to change all that much. I was bad at comforting. After a few more rooms of meaningless Zakobuns and Gorbesh, we came to the elevator which led to the 6th floor. "I don't think this radar's powerful enough to detect anything further than the 5th floor. The radio's beginning to give me static as well. Don't do anything stupid down there..." warned Sim, as the radio turned to complete silence. Snake and I stepped onto the elevator, and descended to BF6 of the dungeons.

I saw M.L.U on the horizon. I started to smile until I notice something else. That unforgettable red eye. "Craaaaaap." I stated immediately knowing that something was up. I shuffeled through my rucksack for a few painful minutes hoping I wouldn't be spotted. I smirked as I pulled out the Machine Gun arm. It was a little discolored and slightly rusty in some parts and I was pretty sure it wouldn't work like it used to but, it would do or now. I opened up my menu and equipped it put it on. After making sure it was on correctly I rushed into the city making sure to not draw alert to any Reaverbots.
I knew I could take on a few but too many and I would be dead. I noticed I was standing in front of the city's museum where there we replicas of alot of things or were they the real things? I never bothered thinking about his until now. I found that the doors were locked on trying to open them "Bloody..." I said panicing a little. I then promptly decided to shoots the locks off. Hoping that the Reaverbots didn't hear that and that everyone else didn't know I did that; I walked in and closed the door taking a sigh of relief.
