I just keep telling myself, "This is really happening, it's not a joke!"
How long have we waiting, how much have we been through? I keep thinking back to when I first joined the board; when we all still had so much to discuss about the games that were already released, let alone a sequel that I'm sure we all expected to come so much sooner! Think of how much we've changed. I was twelve and still in middle school. Now I'm nineteen and in college, but I still feel floored by this news! The blood of a Legends fan still flows through my veins!
I don't even know what I'm saying, but I guess that's the point of the thread! How are you all taking this news? Has it actually sunk in, or are you still stunned or even disbelieving? How does the revival of this series make you feel and does it bring up any old memories?

Personally, the first time I read the news and saw the big shiny logo, I couldn't stop laughing happily- the news really made my day! Since then, I've been in this great mood, and telling all my friends who like Legends (on-line and off) about the great news makes it all the better. It's just so awesome to see that the series still has life in it; just so very uplifting.

I am still trying to calm myself down.
Some of the things I have been thinking of now that the news is out is back when I started here as a total Newbie. Also the 2007 (I think) April Fools joke by SuperDanny that he was closing this place down.

God this day doesn't even feel real. I'm so happy, though.

I can hardly grasp how great this is, at first I was like meh... capcoms making mml3. Then I started to think about what that means, the long years of ups and downs with our hope for a sequel, the speculations on how the plot will go on or how it fits together, the silly tron v roll fights. They're all coming to an end... or about to start over I'm a huge mix of emotions right now. All-in-all I guess this announcement marks the end of one time and start of another

Patience and perserverance were the names of the game the last 10 years.
And it seems like you're not the only one who got excited about the news:
I'm wondering how many of these guests are old members that forgot their passwords. Hmm....

I'm gonna sound like the only one complaining (and servebot will get on my case again) here but I wish that it was for the normal Ds as well.... = ( Don't have a 3DS and I don't really wanna buy one.... oh well at least it's sweet that the epic story will FINALLY be fullfilled. Even if I can't get it I still wanna know what happens!

I marched into the student game room on campus and hollered out "ANNOUNCEMENT: MEGAMAN LEGENDS 3 IS IN DEVELOPMENT" and was met by a wall of stunned silence.
I'm still trying to convince myself that it's all real and that I don't have to complain about the lack of a sequel anymore. I'll buy ten 3DS systems if that's what it takes to get Legends 3! Anything's worth it.
As for the 3DS...it's not just another iteration of the DS, it's another system altogether.

It's weird waking up in the morning, NOT hoping for Legends 3. Everything is different now, we don't have to hope for it anymore, it's actually going to happen. An era has come to and end, the days of being a Legends fan without hope for a sequel are over. After all this time, it can't help but feel surreal. Even after taking all day yesterday to let it sink in, I'm still in shock really.
"The story DOESN'T actually end with MegaMan on Elysium, there's going to be a sequel. They're really making it and it's going to continue the Legends series." The more I try to realize it all, the more surreal it seems to me. But it's really freaking happening. Really.

Yeah super D is going to get much more traffic from now on , as the word that MML3 is going to come out spreads. You better get off your ass Super D because from now on is almost a countdown all we need is a date.

Its still surreal!!
Its beyond words how excited I am, but also how worried I am it will just get bungled up like crazy.. Look at what has happened to zero and X in the last 10 years
in a way Dash was lucky to sit immaculately for so long

The thing with X/Zero is that Inafune sat on his hands and let it happen. That's not happening with MML3 though because he's going to be directly involved in HIS OWN creation.
X5 was supposed to be the last game in the X series, and then Capcom had to push it to X8 and ruin what he envisioned for the series.

It really is hard to believe... When I first got the news, it was a comment left by someone on another site. I literally was trembling when I went to google Legends 3. An indescribable amount of joy fill me and every memory I had ever had of this game flew through my mind when I saw "MegaMan Legends 3 Project" and an embedded video with Inafune's giant smile on his face. Honestly, it's still hard to believe. It's been 10 years of waiting for us. Thinking back, I was 10/11 years old when I first played through Legends 2. I was already really into the X series before then, but Legends has always had such an impact on how I see games, and I think that hoping for a sequel to Legends 2 had a lot to do with it, as well as being one of the few fans to such an underrated cult classic. So now, Legends 3 is announced, and it's going to happen. It's hard to see it that way now. After all of these years, we'll finally see past Trigger on Elysium. It really is a great feeling... And very different. Also, sorry for being absent for a while, guys. hahah Seems college and other things have taken a lot of my time, but definitely not enough for me to not be excited about all of this. It's good to be back, with such amazing news for us all.
