So we've got a winner. Sensei didn't win although I know several here voted for his design. The winner was the girl with the red hair and zipper-sleeve shirt. IMO, she's a lot better (and more conservative) than the half-naked chick that got 3rd place. Attachments:

Mine didn't win, but I don't mind. Komaki was a close second for me.
I really do like her design. I think she'll be an awesome character.

I think she'll make a great character, too. Sensei's got in second and I know a lot of people liked that one. I'm glad it was only 2nd place, though, because while I liked the design, I didn't want to have a major character in MML3 to have a Tennesse accent. Howdy and darn tootin and all. And the one I voted for wasn't even in the top 3, but I don't mind. I realized later that they weren't bunny ears but they were simply pink pony tails, like a variation of Yuna's (though shorter). You all know how Yuna's one of my favorite characters in all the games. But out of all of them, I think the one that won was probably one of the best designs out of all of them. While I did say her design was a mish-mash of various games, it works as far as Legends goes... Since all we're going by is looks for this contest, she looks like she'll fit right in.

whoa. that reminds me of that terrible boy in Pokemon silver/gold who is thought to be Giovanni's son, I understand now how Sim thinks that her design was a throw-together of a bunch of different games. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
I'm trying my best to imagine how a second spotter and digger will fit it... It almost makes me think it'll have something to do with a 2-player mode. anybody else gotta feeling?

Well, most of them seem inspired by other animes and MML itself is heavily reliant on many anime themes. Her design isn't too far off the bat with the rest of MML, though, but she does seem to have a mix of other animes in her design. At least she's not like the half-naked chick in the white trenchcoat that got 3rd place which is totally out-of-place in MML. But like I said before, this might be a rehash of MegaMan X8's design where you choose your Spotter and they say different things or give you different clues as to where things are. While undergroundruined linked it before, I took a picture straight from the Capcom Dev Room and attached it to this post. It seems almost guaranteed that she'll work with MegaMan and the gang. Though it may not be too far off that this is another team of diggers like MM's team. I mean, we already have three sets of pirates but what about other diggers? Oh and great, just great, I'm predicting the love triangle's evolved into a love square now. A redhead's been thrown into the mix, because the blondie is roll, the black-haired girl is Tron, and the redhead's this newbie now. Now we just need a brunette and a bunch of other girls with wacky anime hair colors and we'll have a rainbow. Lol. EDIT: Also added more stuff to the front page. Updated some bios for some TMOTB characters. Even fixed Denise's bio and have the name of the island the game takes place on. Had to get the manual out for that. Attachments:

Legends is the only Megaman series I've ever really played, so I wouldn't know about those scenarios. I also think I'm cursed when it comes to off-site linking because 50% of the time, they send me to somewhere completely different, with a different address. I don't mind a little cartoon drama, it's supposed to be a little spice to the game, and when it comes to Legends, I really laugh when I watch it play out. A brunette would just about complete the equation The other thought I had was something like a... support and main control scenario in dungeons, where you play as one digger, with the other following behind, and pressing a button to switch, like in Donkey Kong Country (but hopefully with the other digger showing a little action as a bot). But at the same time, the two sets could just work independently, but it'd be a little boring to me. I think character meet-ups are one of the best parts of a game. You know this other digger and spotter are there, but it's situational irony to Megaman and Roll.

Hmmmm looks like the voting isn't over yet, but today's the last day regardless. I must've misread the site and he was just giving an update.
Sensei's has apparently pulled ahead again, but none of the others are close enough to compete, really. It's like, a 10% difference between 2nd and 3rd.
And on the topic of how MegaMan's such a playa, Denise could already fill in the the "brunette" spot if she's gotten fired from her police job in the last couple years since TMOTB. And then there's anime hair colors (like Yuna/Sera green......)

LOL you're really good at thinking outside the box. But one thing is definitely true. we need more DUDES in the MML series. That way Trigger doesn't get.... suffocated. <.<
E: Capcom should release another contest on the digger, if they haven't already designed it in their own studio. They're making the digger so mysterious... as if it's going to be some huge shock.

New blog postI've gotta be honest, this worries me a bit. If someone hasn't played the series at all I really don't want them making suggestions...

ugggh so it's true. Capcom really does have a nutsy-cuckoo side. What kind of suggestions would newbs have to offer, especially if they know nothing of legends or the storyline or anything about it? Should a MML3 group even exist without playing MML or MML2?
I hope that group "continues" to be underrepresented. <.<

Well I guess I can see the point of that. They're trying to find the allure of what makes MML tick so they can improve its strengths and fix its weaknesses.
This's probably the first post I'll make on Capcom Unity in some time, and I'm on page 13 or so.

Bumping again, and it looks like I've gotta make a new post to attach a file. (And bleepity-bleep Proboards has a 1MB restriction so I have to chop it and shrink it, too) So she did make it. As I read the news on the main page, including the new posting, I think it's NOT wise for them to push it harder. We've waited this long so the devs should take their time. I don't want this to flop because it got rushed. It's better that they go by this rule from an even bigger name in gaming: Final voting results as stated on the Capcom Dev Room (as stated by Eguchi): Attachments:

Yeah, I know it's a triple post but Proboards has some crappy restrictions on attachments. Attachments:

Okay, so the heroine has been decided... she actually looks like she will fit the series IMO - but that's just looks. What all do we know about her background story? I know there was a fan translation out there somewhere but I'm having the hardest time finding it
