I'm assuming it goes by the sum of the parts, so seeing as Halo is nothing more than mindless killing I don't expect it to be on there.

Mindless? Halo takes strategy!!! Well depends on what difficulty.... So what you're saying is they're more inclined to pick a very good selling RPG game over a great selling shooter game?

An hour worth of sniping at every checkpoint=strategy?

I would assume any strategy involves what to yell next at the guy over the microphone.

Wow ok... thanks for the sarcasm.
I'm saying you can't just play Halo by charging out into the middle of trillions of gunshots unless you want to die all the time. You sometimes need to think about what to do next... and I'm beginning to get the basic idea that you people don't like shooters.

My first frist-person shooter was Wolfenstien 3D for the SNES.... as a rental.
Yes, the very first 3D first-person shooter ever made.
But then again, don't get me wrong. It does take some skill to effectively banter so that you are able to catch your opponent off guard in order to reveal a weak spot which you can take advantage of.

I like RPG's too don't get me wrong, but just because I like things like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, and Kingdom Hearts doesn't mean I can't think Halo's a great game.

Took me a minute when I first realized what you were talking about.
Never played Team Fortress, but I've seen enough of the stuff you can do with things like Gary's Mod and a bunch of other things you can do with it. There are no less that 40 videos on the Youtube thread that use it, as kind of a rough estimate.
That said, balanced arenas are the only ones I can stomach, as I don't care about the one in World of Warcraft. It can die in a fire for all I care.
Although I don't think I've ever seen a truely and completely balanced arena system, if I did, it'll probably really, really boring.
