Hmmm I would post pictures and give you all info on the features of the new Nintendo DSi... but I don't think that anyone else but me cares... oh well - 2 built-in cameras (one inside and one outside) - Free WiFi internet browsing - comes with an SD card for storing games music etc. (2 gigs) - Larger screens and slightly thinner design - Can download GBA games and such. However, There is no longer a GBA game slot... Comes out in the states on April 5th for $170 Hers sum pickatures (here are some pictures): Oh! Among the new games for the DSi is a new Mario & Luigi RPG game. Thought that was important.

A quick and informative video about the features that I've already told you about

Edit: I double posted because I was bored. Sue me.

How bitter.
I have the original DS. I'm not wasting money on this new thing because it has a few extra features.
And also because Nintendo is dead to me now. I just sealed my Wii away in it's box last night, actually.

My DS Lite still works fine, And I think Nintendo's being a little too crazy for my liking right now. But Mario and Luigi 3 better work on a regular DS... They better not pull any of that "oh you need a brighter screen to play this" S*** like they did with the first Mario and Luigi. Needed a GBA SP to play the damn thing right... Didn't get one. Used a Gameboy Advanced light instead. Nintendo would be dead to me if not for my DS...

Nintendo has always wanted you to buy consoles.
If you can remember back then, they came out with a second Gameboy which was just a different color from the standard gray.... and now it has all the functions of the old Gameboy plus a cool case!

Well, apparently, DSi Ware is confirmed, and there's apparently a DSi Virtual Console on the way, as well. Game Gear, GB, GBC, GBA, and TurboExpress. Possibly others. Oh, and from what I've seen, the camera has some pretty nice quality images taken with it. It's better than cellphones, I think.

As far as DS goes, I'm probably gonna get a Wii and wait until they release an expansion to play DS games on it.
They've done it with most systems..... like the Super Game Boy and the Game Boy Player. I won't be surprised if the Wii has a similar expansion.

That would be a really awkward way to play DS for me... pushing all those buttons with the Wii mote. How the hell am I gonna play Elite Beat Agents and Sonic Chronicles?! That's what I was focusing on in making this thread. Or at least trying to. My friend told me that an alternative to downloading those games is to just download roms of games onto the DSi's SD card and play it like that. It sounds odd that Nintendo would let people so easily and comfortably steal their games though. Probably wont work so nm. By the by... since were on the topic of the D.S. and I really shouldn't bother making a new thread. Behold! LOZ meets the industrial revolution! Oh boy...

Im buying it because my old one is broken. Just realize that you can't play Gameboy Advance games on the DSi. Also, you can't play Japanese DSi games on a US DSi.

I've got too many GBA games and one game imported from Japan I'd rather not do without. I'd rather they build a bigger DS with all the original features and the added ones. Or just keep it the way it is. That would be fantastic.

I agree with you on most points purifier. Still, the DS shouldn't be any bigger then its original version. Hmmm... it should be able to fit in a pocket.
To clarify, my DS isn't completely broken. However, it's shoulder buttons don't work and the upper part has broken off one of it's hinges. Also, something is wrong with it's charge. In other words... its breaking.

Take care of your stuff man.
The only handheld I broke was my original Game Boy, and it had AT LEAST 10 years of use before the screen cover fell off.
And I used it quite a bit. I didn't have my Super Game Boy until much later after I had my Game Boy, and we had many 10 hour road trips between two states which we drove through at Christmas and a couple other holidays. I still played my Game Boy some even when we weren't traveling as well.

I think the only reason my GB fell apart originally was many hours in the sun and hot room, which melted the glue underneath the screen cover.
