Hello ^^ Im trying to revive this section of the forum with a question :/ Have anyone actually been able to emulate correctly Tron Bonne? I saw in a superdanny post than he is playing it in the psp but when i play it on my psp, or on an emulator it randomly crashes (i have read some info and that usually happens).
Hmm... Undergroundruin would know about that. And I assumed you needed lotsa RAM for ePSXe because my lousy laptop has 256MB of RAM and any game is really distorted. For example when I was playing MML2 the in game animation speed went way too fast and yet all cutscenes were in slow-mo. It was quite annoying but still kinda funny. If all else fails just save your pennies and get a REAL PSX and buy the REAL MAOTB

I have played all the way through TMOTB with EPSXE 1.6.0.
There are two things you need to do to get it to work. First thing is use the "Iori's DirectSound Driver 1.4" for your sound plugin. And the other thing is to use EPSXE savestates. When it freezes save it to a savestate, and load the savestate(sometimes you have to reload several times to get it to work).
Im not 100% sure that that isthe right plugin, so if it doesnt work, just post here again and tell me.
wow, thanks a lot for that info ^^ im gonna get that plugin, and the save state is a nice trick.
btw im still having some problems, even when i pause it usually freezes, any nice video plugin should i use?
Edit: its runing perfectly, thanks a lot. btw the sound plugin actually desactivates the voices ... well i kinda expected that, since that's look likes to be the problem being emulated

Um... since Sureiya already mentioned an emulating problem i didnt want to make a new thread but.... im having this problem where the emulator's screen goes black (but the sound keeps playing) whenever i:
-pause the game -enter a cut-scene -reach the end of the desert stage (ruins)
Im using "epsxe160" for my emulator but since the problem involves the screen blacking out... i figured that I need a different video plugin instead of a different audio plugin... what do you guys think?
I found the solution for that problem it all lies at cut-scences its a very strange solution that i found by mere concidence
You must do the following with every cut-scene:
-if its your first time to watch it save the state at the beginning of the cut-scene and watch -dont press start or the next one will go black -if you press (triangle) to increase text speed it wil freeze so press it before any one starts talking or between two people talking (you must time it right when the rectangle that text appears in it isnt on the screen or still appearing
im using psx emulator
PS:this might not work on the cut-scene at the very end of the game and the one after you beat glide for the first time
