Ahhh, this was the first thread that I made on MLU. Such good memories..........but not why I'm here. A new Zelda game is coming out for GameCube. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Skip ahead four years and replace Gamecube with Wii and replace Twilight Princess with... well nothing as the new game has no title yet.
Everyone who thought I was talking about Spirit Tracks probably just dropped their jaws XD But yeah, he'res the newest Zelda game. There is very little information about this one released yet, the only info is that it wil be completely different from all past games, Link is older than all previous incarnations, and Shigeru Miyamoto heavily hinted towards the fact that Link doesn't have a sword in the pic. This has caused most fans to think that the girl with him is infact the Master Sword in living form. I'll report more when more info becomes available, assuming ofcourse people actually take notice of this thread and post replies XD

I've always thought that the more Nintendo surprises me with a game, the better it will turn out. There are probably quite a few exceptions to that.
Well... This DOES look interesting.

Ugh. Another Nintendo game, another gimmick.
"Look! He doesn't have his sword! And he's older! WAAAAAAAY different, huh? Now get into those dungeons and collect the pieces of the latest special magical object so that you can beat up Ganondorf Again! Zelda will be there, too!"

It's basically an arena style game.
Link has to capture the Force Gems and other other player has to control three Phantoms to kill him. They switch sides for three rounds with each player on each side for one round.
Link is much more nimble and can usually evade the phantoms easily, and that's why there are 3 phantoms instead of 1. He can also use the safe zones and warps to try and collect the gems.
Basically, it's much like B3 of the Temple of the Ocean King, I think.
