Yay, thx!! I haven't been working on the story for a week or so now but I'm starting again tonight.
(I've started making my RPG game again) It looks better than ever now, not to mention that the story actually makes a little more sense now.
Oh, and I actually have the following part for the story written down but I still need to proof read it and type it onto the computer. Zero finally makes his appearance.

And hey, anybody mind doing me a favour and tell me what the names of some of the bosses are again. I was playing MMZ again to check but I'm kinda stuck with the desert boss. (THe Anubis something guy. I beat him before but now I'm getting rusty and he's keeps killing me)
I'll work on the story tonight and see if I can post a new part of the first chapter maybe today or tomorrow.

Uhhhh... no idea. Really, I only have a guide for Zero 2, and I think both of those enemies weren't in Zero 2... except maybe the flying one, can you describe the flying one?

it's the one who keeps flying in circles around you up and down. It looks as though it has a jet pack or something strapped to its back.
(by the way) really sorry for double posting lately.

;D No problem, as long as you've learned your lesson... and uh... sorry, I don't know the official name. I'm sure gamefaqs.com has some official enemy name list in some faq there... hopefully... but otherwise, using made up names never hurt anyone.

Yes, I know I'm lazy these days. This was just finished yesterday, nope, still no Zero, sry. Next time I hope.
It was dark in the hall but the trio treaded through the darkness anyway. The ¡§clank clank¡¨ of heavy army boots against the metal floor was the only noise to guide the human and the cyber elf, as their self-appointed leader, a reploid, strode past yet another door. The corridor was lined with so many doors, some having fallen off their hinges, to stray them from their path. Only a trained soldier, such as their leader, could have fought off the temptation to see beyond the doors they passed. There was nothing to see in there.
¡§Do you think Milan knows where he¡¦s going?¡¨ The human girl whispered to her companion, a fairy-like figure no bigger than her hand.
The Cyber elf replied. ¡§I hope so, Ciel. His optic sensors are more precise than ours so it¡¦s likely that he can see better in the dark.
Little did Passy know that Milan could see no better in the dark than they could, although his primitive night vision sensors did allow him to recognize any promising doors that may lead to a weapon storehouse or a vehicle bay. Milan was greatly disappointed when he passed the eighteenth door, and still could not identify anything that looked remotely similar to the doors in the resistance base. He was thinking about going back to check on the doors he passed until he saw a slide door that stood out among the other doors. It looked ancient, and had long since been rusted shut but it still stood out as a ray of hope for the three weary wanderers.
Milan gave it a gentle push at first, coaxing it to open but the door remained stubbornly shut. Behind him, Ciel were observing the situation impassively.
¡§I don¡¦t suppose Passy can open this, can she?¡¨ Milan inquired, though he knew the answer.
The Cyber Elf shook her head, swinging her curls of hair. ¡§Not likely. Even if I was able to tap into the controls, the thing is still rusted shut.¡¨
Milan acknowledged her answer with a slight nod. Well, there¡¦s always plan B, Milan thought to himself. ¡§Ladies, please stand back.¡¨ Without waiting for them to comply, Milan bent forward as if to kiss the ground, with his leg high up in the air behind him, and kicked the one and a half inch steel door like a soccer player sending off his final shot before the end of a game. The rust fell of the wall in a cascade of red shards but the door held. Milan ended up with a very sore foot.
Surveying the scene, Ciel winced at the sight of Milan hopping around on one leg. Had their situation not been as desperate, it would almost appear to have been comical.
¡§Stupid door¡K¡¨ Milan grumbled under his breath. Milan began fidgeting for something in his pocket, which Ciel could only tilt her head in wonderment. For a few more moments, Milan struggled with whatever was in his pants, and finally yanked out a small pencil case sized black box. Releasing the catch, Milan took out three components forming an average sized hand gun. Ciel gasped as she recognized the weapon. It was one of the few laser weapons that the resistance had attained before it had become near impossible for import and export of goods to take place. The make was Neo Arcadian but the firearm was mainly issued to only top rank resistance officers. It was part of the older generation of portable laser technology that dwelled only in research facilities, like the one they were in.
Mass production of it was never put in progress because it was considered inferior once the MLR (Machine Laser Rifle) was developed a year after the handgun model was first introduced. Ciel had obtained three of them through an acquaintance in the black market. One, she had reserved for the resistance¡¦s own research in laser technology, another for a top officer, and the third had been entrusted to Milan. He had only accepted the weapon upon her insistence so she was surprised that he even kept it. Now, what was the weapon called again¡KCiel racked her brain for the name. The answer hit her full in the face¡Kthe buster, an appropriate name for such a technological break through.
Seeing Ciel¡¦s curiosity, Milan explained. ¡§I¡¦ve been saving it for an emergency.¡¨
Ciel nodded understandingly. They would need it now.
***
Milan knelt on the ground, with both hands clutching the buster. Since it was a laser weapon, it had very low recoil, and thus, had very precise aim. He pulled the trigger, and the gun went off with a silent hum. A fist sized hole opened up on the steel plating of the door, which was satisfactory, considering that any further damage may set off an explosion alerting the X drones. Milan concentrated on cutting through the barrier by melting the frame of the door. It took about a dozen more shots but the door was soon weakened enough for Milan to ram the door down like toppling a huge slab of chocolate. Dust lapped at their shoes as the group made their way inside.
There was a gigantic hole at the ceiling which had let nature wreck havoc within the room. Chairs half eaten by corrosion littered the floor, and paper work lay unfinished near an administrator desk, in equally rough shape. Ciel lightly brushed the majority of the dust off the papers, and examined them. Meanwhile, Milan climbed the hole in the ceiling to check out their position.
From his position, Milan could see that the building appeared to be encased in a large dome. It would appear safe had there not been a crack running along the side and the battle scars along the wall. Their location was only about house level down from the ground so there was no fear of him falling to his demise. He took his time examining his surroundings. Suddenly, the top of the dome crumbled in a hail of debris and high powered explosives. It took about half a second for Milan to react and throw himself to the ground for cover.
The smoke cleared to reveal six massive golems hovering down from the entrance they made. Seeing that he might as well be a fly to these behemoths, Milan rolled behind a chunk of fallen building material, and camouflaged himself with small pieces of rubble. He took hear the Golem¡¦s propelling system emit a deep whirring as they passed over him. Fortunately, the golems headed towards their main objective. Rather than track down two hidden opponents by themselves, which would have been greatly inefficient due to their size, they intended to open the door for the entire hive. Milan watched as the golems began hammering on the front gate.
Like the emblem on the front gate, the paper had a faded triangle between two halves of a triangle stamped on the top right corner. Skimming through the rows and rows of bureaucratic information and politics, Ciel caught four words that had some meaning to her. ¡§Mavericks, hunters, X and Zero.¡¨
The part about Zero intrigued her so she read on. The majority of the passage made no sense to her but Zero¡¦s location and status did. The status was labeled classified but the location was noted. ¡§In quarantine.¡¨
That was simple enough, Ciel thought to herself. Now all she had to do was get a map and¡K¡¨
¡§Ciel!¡¨ Somebody called out. ¡§

Legends Reborn: Part 6
¡§Ciel!¡¨ Somebody called out.
Cile spun around to look face to face with Milan, whose uniform had become grey from the concrete debris that shielded him from the Golem¡¦s sensors.
¡§We have to get out of here!¡¨ Without waiting for her to register the meaning, Milan grabbed her hand and yanked her out of the room and back into the hallway.
¡§Milan! Wait!¡¨
¡§What?¡¨ Milan shouted back with equal intensity but did not look over his shoulders.
¡§I know where Zero is!¡¨
Milan stopped abruptly, causing Ciel to crash into his back, rebounding her to the ground.
¡§Where?¡¨ Sweat rolled down his forehead as he calculated whether it would be worth the risk to look for Zero.
¡§Quarantine¡Khe¡¦s in status pod B, block five.¡¨ Ciel got up and dusted herself off.
¡§Where¡¦s that?¡¨
¡§I don¡¦t know! Got a map?¡¨
¡§No time!¡¨
Ciel looked on both sides of the hall. ¡§There¡¦s one over there.¡¨ She ran up to it, and pressed her face dangerously close to the slab of figures on the wall.
¡§Where is it?¡¨ Milan demanded impatiently, glancing side to side, expecting swarms of X drones to surge in any moment.
¡§I can¡¦t tell¡K.wait! That looks like it! This way!¡¨ With a swing of her pony tail, Ciel took off for the other end of the hall, followed closely by Milan.
In their dash for the safety, Milan unclipped his radio transmitter from his belt, and frantically tried to make contact with the two men that he had left behind. Only static greeted him, and he feared the worst.
**
On the other end of the call, a gloved hand reached down and closed around the beeping transmitter. The figure brought it to parallel with its face, a red gem flashing in its thirst for blood. At its feet, the mingled body of two brave resistance soldiers laid, just another two nameless victims for the Neo Arcadian drones that slay them. But two isn¡¦t enough, they had accomplices. The X-drone tapped the side of his head. A communicator was strapped to where a human ear would be. An amplified hard voice crept through the device. ¡§There¡¦s two more¡Ka maverick and a human. Kill the maverick, and apprehend the human for interrogation. She has valuable information.¡¨ A click announced the end of the transmission. The X-drone returned to its examination of the transmitter, which was still beeping. With its thumb, the drone squeezed a pair of buttons at the sides, opening a connection to the other end.
The other person spoke first. ¡§Rob? Andre? Ciel has found Zero, pull back now!¡¨ The hasty voice belonged to a male. ¡§Meet us in some dome building with a giant gate. You¡¦ll see a triangle and a circle on the door Ciel and I are west of the entrance¡KAndre?¡¨ Suddenly, the person realized who or what he must be talking to, and quickly broke the connection. But it was too late, their enemies know where they are now.
**
Milan cursed himself for being stupid enough to let away his position. Now that their enemies have a rough idea where they are, it would make their job in looking for them much easier.
¡§Ciel! I did something real stupid just now!¡¨ Milan was limping now, and he could feel his spinal stabilizers shifting slightly out of place. He basically had to holler to Ciel who had gone on ahead, on Milan¡¦s insistence.
¡§Come again?¡¨ ¡§I made a rookie mistake over the transmitter.¡¨
¡§What¡¦s wrong with your transmitter. It¡¦s secure, isn¡¦t it? ¡¨
¡§Yes but I basically stuck a note on their face saying that we¡¦re going after Zero and that we are heading there right now¡KI didn¡¦t mean to though¡K¡¨
¡§You did what!¡¨ Ciel practically screamed the words out.
¡§It was an accident! Really!¡¨ Milan defended himself with excuses that sounded unforgivable to even him.
Never slowing down, Ciel shook her head and sighed deeply. ¡§Next time, do be careful.¡¨
¡§If there¡¦s even a next time¡K¡¨ Milan whispered to himself.
**
¡§Ok, looks like we¡¦re here.¡¨ Ciel panted slightly.
¡§This is it?¡¨ Milan thought. The room was barely the size of a living quarter even when compared to their primitive resistance base. 10 meters by 10 meters, there was nothing majestic or mysterious about it even though it was housing a legendary warrior. A house¡¦s worth of building materials from the ceiling had caved in, edging a long slit along the center of the door.
¡§So much for humble abode.¡¨ Milan thought to himself. He went closer to the crack in the door. ¡§I won¡¦t fit through that.¡¨ Milan said regretfully. ¡§You¡¦ll have to go through alone.¡¨
The word, ¡§alone¡¨, pained Ciel greatly and she felt as though an icy cold hand had reached out and gripped her living heart. A memory tingled in her mind and she saw a little girl, barely at her pre-teens, kneeling on the edge of chaos. The little girl¡¦s hair was dampened with rain and mud, their slivery golden radiance covered beneath a tinge of shame, fear, and pain.
A small creature pulled aside a strand of hair from the girl¡¦s face. ¡§Ciel¡K¡¨ The creature beat her wings softly against the girl¡¦s cheek, trying to comfort her.
At the same time, a fully grown Ciel stood out in the rain meters away from the little girl. ¡§That was¡K.me.¡¨ It was not a question but a statement. Deep down in her heart she knew that the Neo Arcadian troops who raided her family¡¦s camp in search of mavericks was aiming to kill not only the suspected reploids but the humans habouring them as well. But Ciel had fooled herself, thinking that the mavericks were the reason why her family became targets. ¡§If only they hadn¡¦t come¡K¡¨ Ciel had thought that numerous times.
Back when the first massive wipe of mavericks began, the X-drones in charge of the campaign lacked leadership and had only the intention of killing everyone in their mission perimeters. There was no mercy from them, and Ciel had barely escaped death herself.
The adult Ciel shuddered as more memories surged through her mind. There was a white reploid¡Knot a drone. He was a leader¡Khe knew who to kill and who to save. After scurrying back to find her family slaughtered, the younger Ciel would have gladly accepted death herself but this Neo Arcadian was different. He brought Ciel back to his home, Neo Arcadia, which Ciel thought of as the source of all injustice in the world. Thus she set out on a mission¡Ka mission to build the perfect leader for the Neo Arcadians, a leader which will make the world safe for all humans.
If she couldn¡¦t protect the family she lost, the least she could do to atone herself was to save the families of others. It began at first in a small research facility in Neo Arcadia, Ciel, one of the top Neo Arcadia scientists, was on the verge of creating the perfect leader for the disorganized drones. All threats to humankind shall be eliminated¡Kthat was the sole purpose programmed into the reploid¡¦s computer. The project later ended in failure¡Kbut Ciel wouldn¡¦t give up. She would finish what she started out to do¡Keven if it meant¡Kresurrecting a Legendary Warrior¡K¡K
(Story Spoiler: Before Omega X (copy X) was created by Ciel, the X-drones were disorganized and would kill anyone in their target perimeters, whether they are reploids or humans. Ciel lost her family because her family was harbouring reploids suspected of being mavericks. The X-drones were sent to destroy the camp (Epilogue). The white reploid (hmm¡Kmaybe Phantom, do tell me if you think of a better idea) was a reploid, and thus had a more sophisticated AI system. (reploids can think for themselves) So this white reploid took Ciel back to Neo Arcadia, where Ciel trained to become a scientist.
With her vast knowledge, she wished to create a reploid that will organize the X-drones, ordering the drones to only kill reploids. She was willing to resurrect a legendary reploid from the past. That was when she made the blueprints for Omega X. She was on the verge of success but something happened that made her realize that regardless of her efforts, there will still be deaths in the world. When she vowed to protect the families of others, she had not thought of protecting reploids because they were the reason why her family was killed.
Eventually, reploids became like part of her family, and she began to wonder whether reploids should even deserve to live. She brought the idea of sparing the suspected mavericks to the Neo Arcadia Senate but they refused. Days later, Passy infiltrated the Senate¡¦s computer system, and found out that the Senate was planning to eliminate Ciel for her ideas of protecting mavericks. Passy warned Ciel and the two fled the city but not before Ciel destroyed her blueprints for Omega X. Unfortunately, a backup copy had already been issued by her colleague to the military so Omega X¡¦s existence was inevitable. She then went to an abandoned city where the largest band of reploids (suspected mavericks) were hiding. She rounded up the reploids and led them safely away. She was later accepted as the reploid¡¦s leader, and that was how the resistance was formed)
This happened before my fan fic began but there will be later chapters featuring the parts in the spoiler. I just wrote the spoiler because I needed to clear some things up a bit. So, what do you think. (Zero will appear in the next part for sure!!)
