Hope I'm not becoming mildly annoying with so many questions. But I am totally new to this BitTorrent/mISC thing. I've already downloaded BitTorrent, but for some reason, when I try to run the program, nothing happens. And mISC - once I pay for it, I have NO CLUE how to run it despite WPP's detailed instructions. Please enlighten me. I've seen a bit of the dub on YouTube and I'm enthralled. BassCross RULES!

For Bittorrent, once you have the program installed, go to the download where the file is. Bittorrent should recognize the file and start downloading the file.
It's basically a download program, and sometimes there are no hosts for the file and nothing happens. There has to be a connection from a source file and your comp. It's basically a peer-to-peer downloader where you can recieve download info from other people downloading the same file, and you need someone else to host it so you can get the whole file.

Just take a bit of time and research mIRC and bittorrent. It's not hard to figure out, and once you do, you'll find they're both useful for more then just getting Rockman episodes. There are tutorials and FAQs all across the net, just give it some effort and you'll be downloading episodes faster then you can imagine

Bittorrent is pretty slow sometimes depending on who the host is. I suggest starting your first download when you first wake up and letting it run, checking in on it as you go.
The basic way that torrents work with it:
You download the torrent file, and then click on it in the folder you downloaded it to.
Bittorrent should find the file information from the torrent file, and then ask you where to put the file (I generally pick the same folder and move it later if need be.)
Bittorrent downloads the file while you work on other programs (I play World of Warcraft here).
Even if you don't finish the download by the time you shut your computer off, just close the torrent program down normally without finishing. It should continue off where you left off the next day or whenever you turn your computer back on.

And where, pray tell, does mISC come in?

mIRC is another peer to peer program that is much more complex then bittorrent. It's best described as, a chatroom you can download files and serve files in. A little tricky to set up and learn, but once mastered you can use it to grab any specific episode you need from someone's file server. I would only try and use mIRC if your really serious about getting every single episode, and only if bittorrent doesn't work for you.

OK, after editing this post a zillion times, I think I got it. I downloaded a different BitTorrent client - Azureus - and I'm good to go. Rockman Beast Episode 1 is currently 38.0% downloaded after one hour of uptime and still going. I'M GOOD!!! ;D

On second thought, maybe not... It's completely downloaded, and I can hear the soundtrack as clear as a bell (pardon the cliché), but there is NO VIDEO CLIP PLAYING AT ALL!

Man, sorry for so many posts in a row. I had a problem with Media Player playing the .avi file extension, so I downloaded VideoLAN and Beast plays just fine now. Thanks for all your help, guys!

For torrent programs, I'd recommend µtorrent. It works very well, it is a very small file that need not even be installed to be run, and it puts much less drain on the computer's RAM. It's an excellent program from using Torrents. In Linux mode I used to run Azureus all the time and it always slowed everything down so much.. >.<;

I really don't have to worry about slowdown. My laptop has so much power that I don't know what to do with it all. I've experienced a bit of lag in my wireless optical mouse and that's about it. No problems with Azureus...other than the fact that Beast Episode 2 has been downloading since yesterday and is only on 77.6%. Estimated time has been going up and down from a few hours to over a week. This is gonna take a while... I think I have a NAT problem, but I don't have access to my neighbor's wireless router!

the subbed version is better, although I liked the dub and the voices and stuff, sub gives you more story and overall more episodes in general.
