*laughs* Yeah...It's like David and Goliath! Megaman: I'll kill you...w/ THIS!! *holds out slingshot* Juno:...You're joking, right? I feel dumb...I don't remember the game mentioning Roll's daddy's name being Banner at all! I suspected that "Joe" was Roll's daddy but one thing in particular bothered me about that truth: Why didn't he tell Roll he was her freaking dad?!?! Why?! She's been looking for you like forever!! Also, they say in the game he lost his memory. So did he fake that or what? Did he regain his memory and not tell anyone or did he not lost his memory at all? And no...I think that arm's a replacement for his original. Afterall if Matilda was dying when she landed on forbidden island...I strongly suspect her husband was in bad shape as well. Or am I just totally off base here?

Go to the main site and look for my MML2 FAQ. I have a lot of theory stuff down at the bottom.

Lol. Leave it to Sim ;D
Anybody else notice that Joe's arm seems to resemble Guts Style; not to mention it looks like Juno's arm but less......human?
It was likely to be replaced. If you make notice the inferences. Joe and Barrel made it further into Forbidden Island than anyone else, because they were the only one's to be seriously injured. Proof of this is when it's mentioned many times that EVERYONE comes back. I believe that Joe's arm might have been damaged by that wolf Reaverbot trying to protect Matilda by:
1. Pushing her out of the way when it was gonna maul her when she was on the ground.
2. Facing it in one-on-one combat, evidently losing, and got the crap bit out of his arm or probably shoulder.
3. Hitting a giant block of ice, or hitting that electric fence......hard.
I think if it had to be any of the three, it has to be more likely 3 because after being surged with electricity, it's gonna do some really bad damage to someone's body and make them really weak for an extended period of time (and I say this with experience). Since Joe might have been on Forbidden Island for a long time before getting rescued AND THEN when he is rescued, he spends the whole time making the drop ship and diggin. He never gave it enough time to heal, thus probably making the injury never heal until he dies or just actually takes the time to rest.

Dunno mcuh about that.....
But Legends was made WAY before Battle Network 2.
It was a good 1-3 years at least. I doubt that there was much of a driving force for it (the Guts arm) to show up in the Battle Network series because of Joe.

Who knows... Rockman designs tend to share and borrow amongst series'. It does resemble it a little bit, but I doubt the designers of Guts Style said "Let's make his arm a Joe cameo!!"

if they did, I would *PROBABLY* would have been the only person to notice it. Take note it's called the Guts Style but it pratically resembles nothing to Gutsman.... Come to think of it, think the operation used to repair the arm was done by an amature(sp)? I mean if he's a digger, it's gonna be kind of hard to dig with a shovel or fight with a two handed weapon if one arm is almost 4 feet longer than the other. *imagines Joe trying to do Push-ups and Pull-ups*

maybe when he got stuck on forbidden island, he got hungry and chopped it off and ate it to survive (dunno, sticking with the topic)

I terribly doubt he would do that for two reasons.
One: hopefully common sense would have told him he needs as much blood AND movement to keep himself warm, blacking out in the snow with a messing arm not properly dressed isn't one of the best ways to end a day.....or your life...
Two: If he had to eat something, there were a messload of other people who were knocked out..... I don't recall anything saying they ran out of provisions anyway. The only "bad" thing that happened was that they crashed.

hahahahaha! he could eat the crashed people and think its chicken! ;D but, do you lose THAT MUCH blood by doing that? but, he could get frostbite when doing that, so it is bad. or, it was eaten by a reaverbot?

He would've died from either blood loss or hypothermia. Please, just don't make posts like that....

oh yeah, the thing about graphic posts. totally forgot. well, i'll just put it happened in an accident while escaping from there and had to have a bionic replacement (or whatever it is) to stop the loss of blood and can be control with nano nervs that can be signaled by the brain. thats my best guess so far (or what if he had a jar of taco sauce and he was able to survive with it?)

It's a replace, if you look well, you will see that his robotic arm is bigger than his other arm.
