Ok, it's 2 AM and I can't get to sleep. So I though I'd make a topic on what I was thinking about before bed. MML3! Post anything you'd like to see in MML3. Here's what I'd like to see.
The Bonnes and the Caskets team up!
MegaMan is back on Terra along with Yuna and Sera. The Bonnes have nothing left, so they're homeless like they said in MML2. So, MegaMan decides that he'll take care of them for now.
Plot line part 1: Get some beds.
Right now, there aren't enough beds in the Flutter. Bluecher has to take care of the Bonnes by letting them stay in the Sulpher-Bottom. But his funds have been running out because he spent a lot of money on the rocket ships. MegaMan has to take the Bonnes in but there's no beds. Dig in a ruin, MegaMan!
*MegaMan secures a small refractor. He can now buy beds for Yuna, Sera, Teisel, Tron, and Bon. He also buys sleeping bags for all the Servbots.*
Now that MegaMan has all the Bonnes in the Flutter, he has to secure some funds to feed them.
Plot line part 2: Food!
*MegaMan digs in ruins with the Bonnes. More in the next post about digging with the Bonnes. Anyways, MegaMan gets a medium-sized refractor. They put the money in the "bank" so that they can feed everyone for the rest of the game.*
Now that they have money, they can now start digging for real. The Elder System is activating, so MegaMan rushes to an island with increased reaverbot activity. (They were watching the news.)
Plot line part 3: Save the town!
You guys get the picture. Anyways, MegaMan saves the town along with the Bonnes. They then head into the main gate and take the refractor there to shut down the ruins. Now it's time to upgrade the Flutter!
Plot line part 4: Upgrade the Flutter!
MegaMan uses the refractor he found to supply funds to make the Flutter bigger. There's now more space inside the Flutter so that it's not so cramped. There's more rooms so that everyone doesn't have to share a room. Ther Servbots also now have bunk beds so that they don't have to sleep on the floor in sleeping bags.
And the plot line keeps going. They will soon have to buy a new engine with the next 2 refractors so that it could hold up all the weight of the newly remodeled Flutter. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Gameplay issues: In MML3, you can now switch characters! Once the Bonnes are living in the Flutter, you can bring along 2 characters with you into the ruins. The first available character is Bon. Bon: Needs no weapons or armor, so he can tag along with MegaMan at any time. He can pick up the heaviest objects to reveal paths, treasure chests, and make stepping stones for the other party members. MegaMan can also jump on his shoulders for more height. But he's slow and can only use punch attacks in the very beginning. He can also jump on cracked floors to reveal more paths. Let's not forget MegaMan! MegaMan: The most versatile and well-balanced character. He can equip several weapons and let's not forget his Buster Gun! MegaMan now has a new feature. He equips weapons on his shoulders that can be activated with the L3 button. They are mostly support fire weapons with little ammo. MegaMan also has his Jet Skates, which he uses to jump across large gaps. Tron is next in line! Although she doesn't go in the ruins herself, she makes a Finkel so she can command 3 Servbots. Tron using Finkel: The Servbots can fit in the smallest spaces in the ruins. The Servbots can go wherever the others can't. There will also be rusted doors that don't open all the way. The Servbots can squeeze through and activate stuff in the next room. It makes for some more puzzle-solving madness! The Servbots are weak, though. They aren't as hard-hitting as the other party members. They're best suited for solving puzzles and getting a good laugh. And last, but not least, Teisel! Teisel: Late in the game, you get another Gustaff! Teisel can then tag alongside MegaMan. He has a Bonne Bazooka, so he can blast through walls that the others couldn't blast through. It opens up new paths and Teisel packs a punch as well. He's a good fighter, even better than MegaMan, but he's a tad on the slow side.

lol~ this really amused me Sim! One thing though: the plot lines make it feel like the Bonnes are... pets... ^^;;; Hey! Since Megaman had been buying gifts all this time for Roll, how about having the choice of buying any gift, and giving it to anybody he wanted? *imagines Teisel's reaction to a penguin plushie* Mwahahaha xD (I meant that as a sort of 'peace'/'friendship' gift, not what some sickos out there might be thinking... ; )

Lol, Dia. I wanted to get back to sleep after I wrote those. I'll add some more, now!
Upgrading the Flutter!
After various plotlines have been finishe, MegaMan and Co. will start spending their money on other things! You can decorate the Flutter, add more rooms, enlarge the Flutter so you CAN have more rooms, and other things like get another refractor for a second engine. ;D
Tron basically manages the whole thing (she DID build the Gesselshaft, after all). Yuna and Sera are like the vice-presidents of the construction work. They manage the Servbots and make sure they do what needs to be done. The Servbots do all the building, BTW. Tron's the one who makes the plans and stuff, but she pilots the Finkel at times so she doesn't always work on the Flutter while she's there.
Teisel also does some work until you make another Gustaff. He does a lot of the heavy lifting that the Servbots couldn't do. Roll would be the overall Spotter since she does so much of it. Yuna and Sera could also give background information and sorta be the mission coordinators. They give you hints on who you should use.
Anyways, it's just a big partnership! It's not like they're pets or anything. They'll be living together so they need to work like at team. They all have their roles and could be sort of a small business. They will just do exceptionally well (because they're the heroes of the game, of course). They end up getting rich in the end so the Bonnes could share some of the wealth themselves. Also, all those missions in the beginning are for making accomodations for the Bonnes, so they should give a little back by coming along on digs and modifying the Flutter.

Other quirks in the game:
Running other business to generate some cash flow!
Bluecher takes the Sulpher-Bottom and converts it into a protection agency. For a small fee, you'll be safe from reaverbots and the Elder System! Bluecher first starts to pay off his debts (you can help pay it, too), and then you get some of the profits off his business.
The Bonne Shop!
The Bonne Shop was about to go under. Then, MegaMan and Co. get some extra cash and help get it out of the red. All profits go to MegaMan and Co., but you can also upgrade the shop so you can make more money!
Stripe Burger!
Stripe Burger has made some extra money in the last year or so that has passed. MegaMan and Co. come back to Kattelox to find that it has been succesful! They then start a fast food chain all around the world (like McDonalds, only much, much better).
Servbot Training!
Until the Flutter becomes rather large, you'll have to train the Servbots at gyms in Terra. Once you get your own personal gym (at a heavy cost), you can train the Servbots for free! Until then, though, you pay a small fee to train the Servbots. It's based on an EXP system (due to the fee), and the better the Servbots do, the more EXP they'll get. The maximum level will be 5 or 10, though, because of all the Servbots you have to train. The maximum level will be determined by the Servbot and how long the game is (long = higher levels, short = lower levels).

I'm just writing ideas. It's what I think would be in the next Legends game. All-in-all, it's just a little practice to help develop my game designer skills. I wanna be a good game designer, so I'm just shooting ideas like a good game developer would do.

These are some great ideas Sim! I can just picture Megaman guiding Bon around some ruins! Megaman- Ok Bon, try busting out that floor! Bon-Babuuu! *bon ignores the order and plays with a small reaverbot.* Maybe he should have like a loyalty thing? ya know, like compatibility? React quicker, follow orders more thuroughly...maybe? Im a striving game designer too! this thread is soo kewl! BTW im new to the boards, im Zenny Zen(duhh..)!

Lol. Yeah, I kinda like thinking how I could make a game better. Or change a game. Or whatever. It's fun! More ideas! SOS Calls Well, Servbots like TV, right? So they watch the TV all the time and sometimes there's a News Flash that says an island is being attacked. So MegaMan and Co. (now called Trigger's Diggers Inc.) have to go to this island before they can go to any other island. Of course, it has to be triggered by another plot line. But then you have to go and see. The game will kinda have a learning AI where if knows how good you are. Or not. It could just get progressively stronger. But the rewards for doing these SOS calls is that you gain access to more areas and more extra ruins! Side-Quests Since it's gonna be on a 2nd Gen system, there's gonna be a TON of side-quests. Way more than MML1. There's gonna be a lot of extra ruins and people you can help. You'll end up getting a lot of money and a lot of parts for your Buster and other weapons. AND, with Tron and Roll both working on your weapons, you get a lot more weapons, and a lot cooler weapons, too. Upgrade cards These work for both Servbots and weapons. The upgrade cards allow you to increase the maximum perimeters on stats. The Servbots can get a higher maximum stat that they couldn't ordinarily get. Also weapons get more power, so you can make the ulimate weapon. You find these cards just about everywhere -- junk shops, ruins, prizes, etc. Create a Servbot Hee hee! I thought this would be cool! You can make your own Servbots and say what stats they have. Also, the Servbots have a new stat perameter -- "Management!" Since there's gonna be a lot of Servbots working is shops and stuff, we're gonna have to designate just 1 Servbot to manage the stores. He will then run the store while MegaMan is away. He'll hire good or bad workers, depending on his management skills. He will then run the store and yadda yadda blah blah blah. The rest of the Servbots will work on the Flutter and help on digs.

Yeah, Tron'll be in there and stuff. Teisel will be the co-leader alongside MegaMan. That way, no family gets priority in what will happen. I can see Teisel and MegaMan fighting a lot, as well as Tron and Roll. It'll make for a hilarious storyline! ;D ;D ;D
